1. State one issue and its conclusion that you read in the book. Write your answer in three sentences and don’t forget to cite the page(s) where the issue and conclusion are presented in your book.
2. In a numbered list, indicate three of your author’s values using a single word, such as “justice,” and then provide a direct quote (with the page number) that exhibits this value in your selected book. If the quote is long, you can use ellipses to shorten it for this test.
3. In one organized paragraph, identify one key value you hold, describe where you learned the value, and explain how you act on this value in your life today.
4. In your own words, explain why ambiguous language is problem in argumentation. Write your answer in one concrete sentence and don’t forget to cite anything that is paraphrased.
5. In one well-organized and developed paragraph, identify ONE logical fallacy in your selected book and describe why it is an example of the particular logical fallacy. You should use a direct quote in this paragraph as well as paraphrase. Be sure to use MLA format!
