- At least one illustration should show a symbol.
- Somewhere on the page, include an explanation of this symbol.
- Include at least three meaningful text excerpts which support the stated theme.
- On the back of the page, attach a 5×8 index card or printed explanation of the theme, referring specifically to the text excerpts you selected.
- Work should be neat and colorful with very little to no white space.
