Capstone milestone
You will be asked to prepare an A3 report for the analysis of a problem this organization is currently encountering.
Formulate a problem statement and create visual representations to communicate why this is a problem. Display relevant metrics for quality, cost, lead time, and safety.
Create a value stream map (or other appropriate graphic to display current state) for the process that will be improved. Include cycle time, lead time, takt time, and throughput time.
Your A3 report can be completed with paper and pencil or using Microsoft Excel or Word. Typically, in the real world paper/pencil preferred as it is a working document.
