Data Collection, Organization and Analysis: use the excel file provided by the instructor to create appropriate graphical displays

Data Collection, Organization and Analysis

Air pollution represent significant challenges to the health and quality of life not just in NYC but around the globe. This project assignment requires data gathering, organization, and analysis in which you will use hand-held air meters to collect data around the LaGuardia campus. This event presents an opportunity to be involved in authentic research of relevance to the LaGuardia community. Data on carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), volatile organic compounds (VOC), ammonia (NH3), and ozone (03) will be collected at five different locations around the college (front of M-building; Thomson and Van Dam; Van Dam and 47th Ave; Skillman and 29th Ave; and 30th St and Thomson). The number of cars traveling through each of these locations will also be recorded. Document the data in Microsoft Excel. However, due to the current circumstance (remote learning), the data will be provided by the instructor for the analysis.
