For further clarification, the St. Dismas study is there to give you something to evaluate and reference when writing about each of the 22 processes. If you have another case study that you can find that is better, feel free to use it. Your draft essays should also help to fill in a lot of the blanks. When in doubt, remember the highlighted areas above.

The assignment requires that you:

Read the project case, or another project case that is of equal quality (more cases can be found here, for example: https://www.pmi.org/business-solutions/case-studies (Links to an external site.)

Apply your knowledge and briefly explain each process in the Execution and the Monitoring and Controlling process groups, and use your essay drafts that you wrote throughout the class to help evaluate the case study.

There are 22 different processes, and each one should be addressed individually in your evaluation essay, separated by a section heading for each process. If you need a reminder of the specific processes, page 25 in the PMBOK Guide is a good place to start.

The essay should also include a summary, explaining your overall analysis and understanding of the selected project, applying what you learned from the text, discussions and previous assignments of the 2 process groups.

The summary should be the last section of your paper and not to exceed 2 pages.

Technical Parameters:

Essay should be a minimum of 10 pages in length, double spaced, size 12 font, 1 inch margins, submitted in Microsoft Word.
