Ob evaluation
When reflecting on occurrences in the clinical setting students should consider the concepts and stages of Gibbs’ Reflective Model (1988) for the writing structure if guidance is needed:
Description – What happened?
Feelings – What were you thinking and feeling?
Evaluation – What was good and bad about the experience?
Analysis – What else can you make of the situation?
Conclusion – What else could you have done?
Action Plan – If it happens again what would you do? (action items)
