The purpose of this assignment is to have to integrate your thinking about optimal personality in relation to some of the major theorists, wisdom, and the psychology of prayer and spirituality.
Step 1: By formulating five (5) rules, how can you integrate the theories of Freud, Adler, Jung, Fromm, Rogers, and Maslow using the ideas of meaning and purpose in life, sacred emotions, and religious experiences?
Step 2: How can you incorporate your rules into promoting an authentic and optimal personality?
Step 3: Relating to your final synthesis goal, describe a plan in which you incorporate information from the chapter regarding the promotion of a “wisdom path” as a part of your life plan to promote positive mental health.
Step 4: The psychology of prayer describes the impact of prayer on one’s functioning. Devise a practical approach to using prayer for personal change. Design an example of a prayer project for your personal change goal. You can select one aspect of your goal and describe the issue that needs to change. Your prayer project should incorporate the following: Types of prayer, the acts of praying, a rationale for why this would promote change, how to address a sense of meaning and purpose, how to promote the sacred emotions, and how to promote religious experiences.
