Below is the name and story from the movie that is needed for part 2 of the question.
Dr. James Weinstein daughter had leukemia and was forced to do treatments without being properly informed and he feared for his daughters life and did anything necessary to do so, when the cancer came back they wanted him to do more invasive treatment with out informed patient choice and the treating doctor threatened him if he did not do the invasive procedures and report him to children abuse.

I looked for more updated ones which provided a wideangle lens on healthcare in the US, but could not find one that had anything different to report.
