7 sins of memory
Justify the use of the 7 sins of memory as the subject of a leaflet designed to promote Psychology.
Introduction
- What should be included in the introduction?
- A good introductory paragraph outlines the main direction the writing will take, defining any specific terms and indicating any boundaries the content will operate within
Paragraphs
- Use paragraphs to build and structure your argument, separating each of your points into a different paragraph
- Your point should be made clear in the first or second sentence of the paragraph to make it easier for the reader to follow the line of reasoning
- At the end of the paragraph you should show the significance of the point you have made to the overall argument or link to the next paragraph
- Every paragraph you write should have this structure. Without it, your logic is not clear
- You should be able to provide evidence (i.e., a citation) for each of the main points you are making
Remember also that you should cite the researcher who came up with a particular idea
Use primary sources (e.g., peer-reviewed journal articles); steer clear of blog posts and non-academic publications
