● What do people wear to perform this dance form? What is the significance or importance of the
different elements of the costume? Are men and women, old and young, higher and lower
ranking, performers dressed differently?
● Where is it typically performed? (On a stage, outdoors, in a temple, in a home, etc.) Is it
performed at a certain time of year, time of day, etc.? Is the length of the dance culturally
significant?
● Is this dance performed in Austin, or in the central Texas area? Are there classes available in this
