Civil Rights Issue.
Select a contemporary newspaper or magazine article (published on or after Jan. 1, 2016), making sure that it is on a current civil rights issue.
Your review should be 250–300 words long and consist of two parts:
- Describe the event/issue that is being covered and explain why it represents a civil rights issue.
- Briefly summarize what the article covered.
- Quote the article, explain the importance of the quoted language.
- If different opinions are presented, be sure to say who you think is right and why.
- Does the article cover the issue/event well?
