Scenario: You are mentoring a younger enlisted service member. They are promo-table and are getting ready to transfer to a new duty station. You and your mentee, however, have learned that your mentee’s non-commissioned officer in charge (NCOIC) at the new duty station is somewhat, to put it mildly, “difficult to work with.”
